With the rapid development of modern electronic technology, miniaturization and complexity of sophisticated instruments and communication electronics extremely improve requirement for the equipment performance and anti-interference ability. At present, the International Electrotechnical Commission(IEC)to develop the electrostatic discharge(ESD)test standards only direct the contact electrostatic discharge process. But the contact discharge test standard does not fully reflect the real discharge phenomena in fact.Non-contact electrostatic discharge(ESD)is one of the main forms for interference or damage of electronic devices or systems in engineering and living environment. However, international and domestic have not been a unified standard for non-contact electrostatic testing. This paper attempts to make a detailed study on the influence of non-contact electrostatic discharge in the process of electrode moving speed on the discharge parameters,in order to be expected to be helpful for the development of non-contact electrostatic discharge testing standards.Based on the theory of electrostatic discharge,we establish the model of the micro gap discharge circuit.First we use the formula derivation method find the formula of discharge current, and use the function of the current fit waveform, and analyze it with the mechanism of electrode moving speed effect.Base on making full use of the electrode speed effect detector of our research team,we measure the experimental results of a large number of electrostatic discharge data;and then combine with theoretical research,we analyze the influence of the electrode moving speed relative parameters. The results show that in the control of other factors, the higher the electrode moving speed is,the higher the peak value of the discharge gap is;In the case of other factors unchanged, the higher the charge voltage is,the higher the peak discharge current is.In a certain voltage, the electrode moving speed is positively correlated with the current average pulse rising speed, electrode moving speed is negatively correlated with the current average pulse declining speed. The simulation results of the formula of discharge current are consistent with the experimental results about discharge parameter results. At the same time,we simulate and analyze the dissipation of charge in discharge process.
