Correlated imaging is one of the hot issues in the field of quantum optics in recent years.Usually the ghost imaging is realized by using the spatial correlation of the incoherent light.The correlated light is divided into two different types of linear optical system,called the sampling system and the reference system,by the optical splitter.The object is placed in the sampling system.The spatial distribution of the object is reproduced in the reference system in the form of a non fixed field through the measurement of the sampling and reference system.Ghost imaging,which experienced the process from theory to practical application in nearly 20 years of development,has been proved that it can be realized by both the entangled light source and thermal light source.And the thermal ghost imaging is easier to practical application.In this paper,we mainly study the properties of the pseudo-thermal ghost imaging,and the main contents are as following.1.The research history and the present situation of the correlated imaging are introduced in this paper.2.The basic theory of correlated imaging is introduced.Both the entangled light source and the pseudo-thermal light source can achieve the correlated imaging.We explain the imaging principle of the entangled light correlated imaging and the pseudo-thermal correlated imaging.Besides,we introduce the pseudo-thermal light source.3.As the property of the imaging system is expressed by the quality of the target image,so the imaging quality evaluation system can provide effective reference and basis for the parameters selection,system design and structure optimization.In this paper,we draw on the experience of the laser active imaging quality evaluation system to study the quality evaluation system of pseudo-thermal correlated imaging.And we research the influence of the factors of the quality evaluation system on the correlated imaging by the numerical simulation.4.A new scheme for generating the pseudo-thermal light source is introduced.In this paper,we use the spatial light modulator as the phase modulator to generate the pseudo-thermal light source,and then we realize the pseudo-thermal correlated imaging.We discuss the influence of ghost imaging with different spatial light modulator pixel array arrangement.To improve the performance of pseudo-thermal light field,we focus on the design of spatial light modulator pixel array arrangement which is optimized by genetic algorithm.We compare the images of our scheme withthe images of the ground glass scheme.The result prove that our scheme has important reference significance to the designment of new pseudo-thermal light source.
