Coal resource is one of the energy mineral resources, and its application accounts for 25%of the world’s primary energy consumption. Coal resources as the most reliable energy for the development of China, its basic energy status can not be shaken, and China’s coal based energy structure will exist for a long time. Xinjiang has abundant coal resources, this paper selects three northeastern Xinjiang Barkol Santanghu coal belt of the black eyed Ida spring north as the study area.Through the research area of main coal seam thickness, stability and coal accumulation factors, using qualitative and quantitative methods,the occurrence of changes of system summed up the black eyed spring Kita Ida main coal seam, and analysis of the coal industrial use of coal, coal quality variation, correlation based on coal characteristics and the variation,the main coal seam coal quality index to establish the mathematical model. The following conclusions are drawn from the analysis:(1) the study area there are mainly 4 mineable coal seams, coal seam characteristics are similar, the law is from the southwest to the northeast to gradually become deep, continuous comparison of coal seams in the area are analyzed and the reliability evaluation, from the law and tendency of main coal seam at the the main coal seams in the area south of the shallow coal basin, the basin of the northern and Eastern (deep) in the study area.(2) ash coal quality index of main coal seam in (Ad) the distribution is generally low -low ash coal from the south to the north from the southwest to the northeast by the distribution of total sulfur (St - D) the distribution law of the content of coal seam outcrop to deep coal seam strip increased gradually from south to north the distribution, calorific value(Qgr.d) showed an overall decrease gradually from deep into the coal seam outcrop data.(3) the correlation zone of main coal seam of coal calorific value and coal quality index,see the calorific value of coal as a whole (Qgr.d) and water (Mad) correlation variation is not obvious; calorific value of main coal seam of coal (Qgr.d) and volatile (Vdaf) relationship,and a relationship with the characteristics of coke slag, cinder characteristics in this area are basically stable, so the main coal seam well presents the calorific value of coal ash based higher volatile coal branch correlation rule is lower; through the analysis of calorific value of main coal seam of coal ash (Qgr.d) with (Ad). decreased.The research results of this paper will be helpful to the comprehensive development and utilization of the coal resources in the region, as well as the long-term planning.
