The surface consistency hypothesis is broken in complex surface area,such as desert,gobi and piedmont zone.The static correction based on such hypothesis will lead to appreciable error and hence wrecks the subsequent processing.In order to tackle this problem,the static correction needs to be detached from the traditional surface consistency hypothesis.We conduct seismic forward modeling under different surface conditions and then generalize the analysis method for the impact of the surface inconsistency under specific surface condition.We further quantify the difference of statics correction,thereby assessing the error level introduced by using surface consistency hypothesis for field data.This research implements inconsistent statics correction through wave-field continuation.Finally completed seismic data processing work.Both conventional synthetic models and practical model of target areas are used to test the proposed method.Seismic records are generated through the wave equation modeling software.Elevation statics correction,tomography statics correction and the proposed statics correction are applied on the seismic data.The comparison clearly confirms the proposed method can provide more robust under different circumstance,comparing to the other two methods.
