In recent years, with the economic and social development, energy demands continues to increase,China's coal production and mining technology continue to improve. The popularization and application of fully mechanized mining equipment make the formation of Northwest China underground mining a high-intensity,high efficiency mode.Northwest part is a ecologically fragile areas, with poor disturbance rejection. In this context,Northwest deteriorating ecological environment, sustainable development of mining is becoming increasingly serious. How to exploit coal resources rationally and sufficiently and how to reduce mining activities damage to the ecological environment have become a major issue.Paper is based on LandsatTM/ETM+ remote sensing data, and analyze thetemporal and spatial variation of vegetation evolution in mining area. And through the correlation analysis of vegetation NDVI and meteorological factors in the mining area, the main influencing factors of the vegetation change were revealed. The results have significant implications for exploration of mines in northwestern high density, spatial and temporal variation of vegetation coverage under high-intensity mining. The main contents and conclusions are as follows:1.Prepossessing LandsatTM/ETM+ data to obtain NDVI images of the study area.Based on long time series NDVI datasets, using a variety of indicators-depth study of temporal and spatial variation of vegetation,we analyzed the spatial distribution of NDVI values, time variation and temporal trends, and explored the east of vegetation cover change and coal mining situation coupling.2.Using IDW spatial interpolation to obtain climate data in the study area.Through Correlation analysis between NDVI and climatic factors,we proposed that the change of vegetation in mining area is affected by human activities more significantly, and discuss the influence from both sides of the positive and negative.3.Spatial analysis of the mining area we can concluded thatShendong mining area with low density vegetation area, vegetation distribution there is relatively uniform;Vegetation cover change is mainly to improve the main, almost no serious degradation region;during the study period, the vegetation was fluctuating and the mining area was relatively stable, and the vegetation fluctuation in the reserve area was relatively strong.4.The time-series analysis of vegetation concluded: 1989-2009 annual NDVI increase of 0.06 / 10a;depending on the density and image segmentation anomaly,it is divided into two stages, namely 1989--2000 and 2000-2009;Fourier Gaussian fitting and the second phase of NDVI values, understand the research area one crop vegetation characteristics, and peak growing season and the beginning and end of each year the difference.5.Theanalysis ofshows driving forceshows : 1989--2009 Vegetation changes associated with climatic factors are considered irrelevant, but the impact of the first phase of the influence of temperature is greater than the same period by precipitation, while the second stage is the opposite;mine by human vegetation changes seriously affect the activities,in particular affecting the local coal mining, mining in recent years, and actively control the surrounding environment, effectively improved the coverage of vegetation in the study area.
