In this study,based on urban rivers in Jinan as the backdrop,during May,August,November 2014,and May,September,October 2015,according to the season,wecollected the planktons assemblages from a total of 24 sites of urban rivers in Jinan as the study target,to examine species diversity of planktons community structure and health of aquatic ecosystems.The main objectives were to: 1)understand the composition characteristics of planktons species in Jinan City Rivers;2)analyze the community structure of planktons in the rivers of Jinan city systems;3)evaluate the ecosystem health of plankton assemblages in Jinan basin.The main results of this survey were as follows:1.We identified 128 phytoplankton species in 2014 year and 2015 year.In 2014,we identified 113 phytoplankton species in spring,89 phytoplankton species were identified in summer,86 phytoplankton species were identified in autumn.In 2015,we identified 98 phytoplankton species in spring,89 phytoplankton species were identified in summer,81 phytoplankton species were identified in autumn.The average values of phytoplankton species,densities,Shannon-Wiener index and Pielou index ranged from 17-18,1.41×103-3.25×103 cells/L,2.27-2.49 and 0.59-0.68 during 2014 and 2015.The average values of phytoplankton Shannon-Wiener index was 2.43?2.49 and 2.60 from spring to autumn in 2014,The average values of phytoplankton Shannon-Wiener index was 2.33?2.37 and 2.21 from spring to autumn in 2015.By overall evaluation,the water in Jinan River was found to be moderately polluted.2.We identified 76 zooplankton species in 2014 year and 2015 year.In 2014,dominant species of zooplanktons were In 2015,dominant species of zooplanktons was In 2014,we identified 113 zooplankton species in spring,89 zooplankton species were identified in summer,86 zooplankton species were identified in autumn.In 2015,we identified 98 zooplankton species in spring,89 zooplankton species were identified in summer,81 zooplankton species were identified in autumn.The average values of zooplankton species,densities,Shannon-Wiener index and Pielou index ranged from 17-18,1.41×103-3.25×103 cells/L,2.27-2.49 and 0.59-0.68 during 2014 and 2015.The average values of zooplankton Shannon-Wiener index was 2.43?2.49 and 2.60 from spring to autumn in 2014,The average values of zooplankton Shannon-Wiener index was 2.33?2.37 and 2.21 from spring to autumn in 2015.By overall evaluation,the water in Jinan River was found to be moderately polluted.3.Canonical correspondence analysis results showed that plankton community structure was largely determined by the interactions was electric conductivity in 2014 and 2015.total hardness?total alkalinity and total phosphorus were the main environmental factors limitation of plankton community structure in 2014,total alkalinity and total phosphorus were the main environmental factors limitation of plankton community structure in spring in 2014,water temperature and calciumion were the main environmental factors limitation of plankton community structure in summer in 2014,water temperature was the main environmental factors limitation of plankton community structure in autumn in 2014.On the contrary,total nitrogen and total phosphorus were the main environmental factors limitation of plankton community structure in 2015.Total nitrogen was the main environmental factors limitation of plankton community structure in spring and summer in 2015,total hardness was the main environmental factors limitation of plankton community structure in autumn in 2015.4.Total phosphorus was the main environmental factors limitation of zooplankton community structure in spring in 2014,water temperature and calciumion were the main environmental factors limitation of zooplankton community structure in summer in 2014,electric conductivity was the main environmental factors limitation of zooplankton community structure in autumn in 2014.On the contrary,electric conductivity was the main environmental factors limitation of zooplankton community structure in 2015.Dissolved oxygen and ammonia nitrogen were the main environmental factors limitation of zooplankton community structure in spring and summer in 2015,total nitrogen and total alkalinity were the main environmental factors limitation of zooplankton community structure in autumn in 2015.
