The Altay region is an important gold,copper and polymetallic metallogenic belt in China.The formation of this region has experienced many tectonic movements such as trench arc system,collision orogeny and posterior collision stretching motion.The gold deposits are widely distributed,including large and medium-sized and different types of gold mines.There are quartz vein type,shallow metamorphic clastic rock type,broken rock type,volcanic rock type,Gold and so on.Due to the northward subduction of the Zhungeer plate,the faults and folds are developed in this area.The faults are mainly nw-trending and nnw-trending next,resulting in the terraced block elevating sinking of the whole mountain from north to south.The area is close to the ancient magma arc of subduction zone,in which the fault and magmatic activity are developed and is conducive to the formation and enrichment of gold,and a large number of gold deposits and ore are found already.The so-called "Altai seventy-two ditches,each has golds" mainly refers to this area.The North Jiabosar Gold Mine is located on the southern margin of the Altay Mountains and is the most important copper-nickel gold metallogenic belt in the Kazakhstan-Junggar plate and the Siberian plate.Based on the analysis of the petrophysical data of the intrusive rocks in the study area,the granite of the North Jiabosar Gold Mine has the characteristics of low titanium,low iron,low magnesium and high aluminum and is the type of rich in sodium and high potassium calc-alkaline volcanic rocks series through the analysis of the main trace elements in the granodiorite of the mining area.The Rare Earth data are light rare earth enrichment and heavy rare earth loss.The standardized LaN / YbN ratio is 8.37~15.53,which indicates that the light and heavy rare earth elements are different in the study area.In addition,through the electronic probe test of the mine samples,it can be seen that the metal minerals in the North Jiabosar Gold Mine are mainly pyrite,chalcopyrite and natural gold,and the gold is mainly present in the pyrite.Among them,the content of elements in pyrite and chalcopyrite is close to the theoretical value,which indicates that the North Jiabosar Gold Mine has the potential to form large ore.Through the analysis of geophysical and geochemical anomalies in the study area,it is also possible to show that the geophysical anomalies in the North Jiabosar Gold Mining area are well accustomed with geologic anomalies,and the results of borehole verification show that the mineralization is good and reach the industrial Grade requirements.The faults and buried faults of study area and its adjacent area are developed,with strong rock alteration and complex alteration types,and is similar to structural alteration vein rock type that was proposed by Wang Jingbin.The magnetic method shows that there are concealed intrusive bodies in the deep,and the deep veins are larger.In summary,the North Jiabosar Gold Mine has good metallogenic geological conditions,the tectonic activities are develop,the geophysical and geochemical anomalies are obvious,and the rock are extending well to the deep,thus has good mineralization prospect.
