With the rapid development of the national economy, large infrastructure projects are often located in the mountains, and mountains for the incidence of geological disasters, geological disasters of a direct impact on people's life and property safety. As one of the major geological disasters in the mountainous area, the study of dangerous rock is relatively weak, and it is of great significance to study the stability of dangerous rocks. This paper analyzed from two aspects of stability and control methods of dangerous rock, and obtained the following conclusion:on the basis of rock failure mode of rock will be re divided into falling perilous rock, toppling unstable rock, sliding rock, rock type and mobile dislocation stripping rock.Through the analysis of various failure modes, expounds the forming mechanism and gives the conditions of different failure modes;based on the original model of adding a trailing edge through steep fracture sliding, the double structure of the sliding,no cracks and steep trailing edge shaped cantilever type four crashed a new calculation model, the upper edge of the rock tensile strength control, gives the calculation formula of the stability, forming a calculation system of dangerous rock stability model, model calculation gives two kinds of calculation methods, comparison of two methods for reasonable selection can improve the calculation of rock;based on engineering examples, the stability of a an engineering example of dangerous rock mass was analyzed based on the limit equilibrium method and numerical simulation method, and the stability coefficient were obtained in two different conditions.Suggestions for relative quantification of different preventive methods are put forward.
