In this paper we investigate a prey-predator model with a free boundary and Bedding-DeAngelis response function in higher space dimensions and heterogeneous environment.Firstly,we give a spreading-vanishing dichotomy,namely,the two species either successfully spread to the entire space and survive in the new environment,or they fail to survive and die out in the long run.Then the long time behavior of solutions and criteria for spreading and vanishing are also obtained.Finally,when the spreading happens,we provide an estimate of spreading rate. |
