Machine maintenance model is a typical application problem of finite source queu-ing system.Failure means the customer arrives at the system and the repairman is the server in the machine maintenance model.The study of machine maintenance model is transformed into a kind of optimization study of queuing problem with limited customer source.To avoid damaging the profits and normal operation of the enterprise,it is sure the fault machine can be repaired as soon as possible to reduce the waste the time and cost,therefore,selection of mechanic number is key problem to enterprise.Combined with the actual situation of machine maintenance model and finite source queuing system theory,a multi-criteria optimization model is conducted on repairman number in this paper,and a numerical example is employed to demonstrate the validity and practicability of pro-posed model in the production management.The main contents of this paper are shown as follows:1.Based on finite source queuing theory,the machine maintenance optimization model is proposed.The machine maintenance model is regarded as the finite source queuing system and main quantity index,such as the steady-state probability of system and the average waiting time,are obtained by the arrival rate and service rate of the queu-ing system..An index equation is established by three optimization criteria(utilization rate of servers,customer satisfaction and system cost)in optimization model.The differ-ent server' s number is corresponding to different index value.Finally,the validity of the model is proved by examples and sensitivity analysis is conducted.2.The triangular fuzzy number is introduced into the finite source queuing system,which is used to represent the system's arrival rate and service rate,and the fuzzy values of the three optimization criteria are obtained.The reasonable range of sever number is selected with consideration of the factory's actual conditions,the optimal number of me-chanics and assigned sorting are determined by optimization index values and its validity is verified by employing numerical examples.Corresponding basic theoretical knowledge are summarized in the relevant research subject in this paper and current research status is analyzed.The established optimization model is concretely described.The relationship form between the system parameters and the optimal results of model is drawn,simultaneously.The effect of system parameters with respect to model results is visually presented,and system efficiency is greatly im-proved with a slight change in system parameters.Certain theoretical basis is provided for scientific management of reception in this paper.
