| Dohrniphora cornuta(Bigot)belongs to Dohrniphora Dahl Genus in the family Phoroidea and distributes widely except the Antarctic.It is an important forensic fly and plays an important role on estimaion of postmortem interval.Under different constant conditions temprature(15℃,18℃,21℃,24℃,27℃,30℃,33℃and 36℃with relative humidity of 75%),the different immature developmental periods of D.cornuta(Bigot)were observed,larval body length was measured using the Olympus 3D reconstruction image processing system and morphological changes of pupae were observed by dissecting This study aims at accumulating developmental biology information of D.cornuta(Bigot)and laying the foundation for estimation of postmortem interval using necrophagous phorid in our country.The main results are as follows:1、At 15℃,18℃,21℃,24℃,27℃,30℃and 33℃with relative humidity of75%,the average minimum developmental time of larvae are 616.70±2.31h,276.39±1.35h,186.81±2.33h,169.15±2.48h,145.26±2.31h,112.79±2.25h,129.94±3.52h,respectively;the average minimum developmental time of female pupae are 1102.86±25.55h,527.61±6.71h,393.23±3.42h,288.23±2.47h,201.74±3.57h,184.79±3.00h,192.57±2.97h;the average minimum developmental time of male pupae are1175.33±18.55h,556.13±8.02h,420.43±2.54h,300.10±2.44h,221.71±2.43h,197.40±4.12h,212.63±3.71h.Developmental period of D.cornuta(Bigot)of larvae and pupae are shortened with the increase of temperature.At 33℃,the developmental period was slightly longer then 30℃.2、At 36℃with relative humidity of 75%,the eggs of D.cornuta(Bigot)would not hatch.3、At 15℃,18℃,21℃,24℃,27℃,30℃and 33℃with relative humidity of 75%,the fitted equations about the larval body length and developmental time of D.cornuta(Bigot)are Y=-0.00002X~2+0.0192X+0.512(R~2=0.9507),Y=-0.00008X~2+0.0364X+0.616(R~2=0.9605),Y=-0.0001X~2+0.0475X+0.835(R~2=0.9909),Y=-0.0003X~2+0.0624X+0.6597(R~2=0.9886),Y=-0.0003X~2+0.0707X+0.4521(R~2=0.9698),Y=-0.0004X~2+0.077X+0.4633(R~2=0.9769),Y=-0.0004X~2+0.0643X+0.7836(R~2=0.9681)),respectively.4、According to external morphological characteristics of naked female pupae of D.cornuta(Bigot),pupal ages could be devided into 9 stages:prepupa,protruding of respiratory horns,segmentation of thorax and abdomen,differentiation of dorsal muscle of thorax and segment of abdomen,yellow eye,bright brown leg,dark brown leg,dark red-brown eye and black eye.It’s also suitable for males.5、The duration of the 9 stages of D.cornuta(Bigot)pupae varied greatly under different temperatures.The segmentation of thorax and abdomen(P3)was the shortest stage.The differentiation of dorsal muscle of thorax and segment of abdomen(P4)and yellow eye(P5)have longer duration. |
