Due to atomic optical filter to filter the waves based on atomic energy level transition line,so they are widely used as optical system signal receiving ends device.With the rapid development of modern optics and widespread application optical information technology,Requirements for the performance of the optical system such as signal to noise ratio?SNR?and sensitivity are also increasing.In order to obtain better quality of optical signals,atomic optical filter are widely used in laser communications,remote sensing detection and other fields.In this paper,first of all,we introduced the development of the atomic optical filter in the recent 20 years,especially the laser induced dichroism atomic optical filter,and then based on this,we theoretically analyzed the LIDOF,established model and simulate calculation.The main contents include the following aspects:First,we introduced a kind of more extensive and mature laser induced circular dichroism atomic optical filter based on 87Rb atoms,and the model structure and the simulation process.Then,analyze and calculate the selective optical pumping in D2transition of 87Rb atom.On this basis,we proposed selective optical pumping with double light and magnetic,after that we calculated and analyzed particle numeral density distributing law.Secondly,we used the 87Rb atom as an example,and analyzed the characteristics of the energy level structure.Afterwards we proposed a theoretical scheme to further improve performance of filter and established a five level structure model.Next,we solved by using the method of density matrix,and calculated the various parameters of filter in Doppler broadened.Finally,We proposed a kind of laser induced dichroism atomic optical filter capable of tuning with Zeeman splitting level affected by magnetic field.We analyzed the atomic hyperfine energy level splitting in the magnetic field and solved it by using the method of density matrix.The calculation results show that by the way of adding magnetic field can make the laser induced dichroism atomic optical filter tuning capacity of several GHz.
