Dangerous rock is a common major disaster in the mountainous area.Because of the characteristics of wide distribution,complex forms,serious harm,become the disaster problem to the country and the world.Above all,the characteristics and the prevention is urgent to study.In this paper,the collapsing of dangerous rock as an example,the movement characteristics of rock as research object,using the method of Rockfall numerical simulation and mathematical statistics,discuss the factors of dangerous rock movement parameters,movement and protection work of dangerous rock.Following results have been carried out:(1)Two kinds of dangerous rock types have been added in the dangerous rock classification method nowadays,namely,Which is the original sliding unstable rock,toppling unstable rock and falling unstable rock,as well as striping unstable rock and dislocation-moving unstable rock.Different types of collapse of dangerous rock.(2)Using the Rockfall software simulation of rockfall collapse,range analysis and variance analysis,we have changes in the relationship between the motion parameters of dangerous rock affected by the factors,which are dangerous rock to stop the movement of the motion parameters of horizontal distance,maximum bounce height and total energy in rock slope.After then,this paper analysis the signification of these factors.(3)With different slope gradient,dangerous rock can collapse in different way,which are free caving,bouncing,rolling and sliding.Through the Rockfall software simulation,we can find the decisive influence of slope gradient on the rock movement form,with the slope increase,dangerous rock will slide,roll,bounce and free cave.Basing on different movement forms of dangerous rock,we can list the approximate range of the slope gradient,and to systematically classify a single slope and two slope,divided into extremely steep slope,steep slope,gentle slope and extremely gentle slope.From these four,the type of complex slope above two level can be listed,after then,we simulate the motion form of dangerous rock in these different kinds of classification.(4)Quantify and apply the existing rock control measures,different types of dangerous rock,the treatment measures are also different,and some existing data standards each measure.In the end,we have practical application of the protective measures(passive protective net),through the results of Rockfall numerical simulation,as an example of dangerous rock of W1 district in Wuzhuan town.
