As we all know,the current research and development of marine floating structures has become a hotspot of marine engineering.The emergence of the Pontoon truss platform will certainly have a significant effect on the future development of marine resources.As a new-type marine floating structure,the relevant design is still lack of mature theory and guidelines.The main work of this paper is to study the calculation method of the new-type marine floating structure,according to which the guidance for structural design is provided.The main works of this study are listed as follows:(1)References and marine mobile platform specification of different countries' classification societies are studied.A method for calculating the marine floating structures is discussed according to the existing structural strength calculation method of this type of floating body,by which the foundation of the following research is provided.(2)The wave load of the floating body is calculated with the use of the associated load calculation according to the load calculation principle of the floating body.The calculated value of wave loads and the relevant data of wave load tests of the model pool were compared.The accuracy of the calculation results were verify according to the comparison.Meanwhile the Morrison force of the small-scale component of the floating body is considered,which laid the foundation of the following structural strength evaluation of the floating body.(3)The previous calculated relevant load is exerted on the finite element model of the floating body.The current relevant specifications of the marine floating structures,such as Rules of Mobile Offshore(CCS)and HCSR(Harmonized Common Structure Rules)are referred to.Then the results of the strength assessment were verified according to the beam theory.Finally,the overall strength assessment results of the floating body were analyzed to draw corresponding conclusions.(4)At last,because of the numerous typical node of the platform,the fatigue strength assessment is necessary.In this paper,two of the most typical hot spots are selected to be implemented fatigue strength check with spectral analysis method.(ABS fatigue specification is referred to.)Then the corresponding conclusions are drawn through the analysis of the calculation results,which provides the basis for the following floating structure nodes design.
