China has a long history of 5,000 years. It is one of the oldest countries in the world. After many ethnic interactions and the change of dynasties,it eventually formed a unified situation of multi-ethnic countries. With the advancement of time, the integration of ethnic groups and the change of dynasties,China's territory has also continued to evolve. The change of China's territory is a complex dynamic system. Its emergence, development, and disappearance are the focus of historians' research. However,at present, the research on the evolution of China's territory has always stayed in the archaeological aspect, lacking computer simulation. This study used the cellular automata model and based on the Net Logo platform, selected factors such as population, territory area, military strength, and national will as factors to drive the simulation of the 5,000-year evolution of China's territory. In view of the fact that this study(1)selects the influencing factors that mainly affect the changes of the ancient Chinese territory, all the influencing factors are reduced to a comprehensive value based on the Klein's force equation, that is,the comprehensive national strength value, and the comprehensive national strength value is used as the drive for the evolution of the territory. The only driving force;(2)Indepth study of the evolutionary laws of the ancient Chinese territory, and comprehensive consideration of the time of existence of the dynasty and the influence of the dynasties, selecting evolutionary dynasty nodes, and assigning the dynasty nodes as "type values" to give comprehensive national strength,ie comprehensive national strength includes both The size of the overall national strength also includes the type of comprehensive national strength;(3)Gather the data of each element of the evolutionary node, use ArcGIS to assign the comprehensive national strength type value and comprehensive national strength value to each corresponding country, and convert the ASCII format that NetLogo can read.(4)Based on the dynamic simulation modeling framework of Cellular Automata(CA),relying on NetLogo to expand the evolutionary rules of CA,and build a national evolution model integrating multiple factors to reflect in a sealed space.(5)This study should fully consider the dynasties When the evolutionary node and the evolutionary node in the dynasty evolved during the dynasty, the various evolutionary parameters were continuously adjusted through NetLogo programming to make the simulation result consistent with the historical situation as much as possible so as to reflect the evolution mechanism and law of each dynasty..This study simulates changes in the ancient Chinese territory and not only enhances the understanding of the changes in the historical boundaries of the country, but also enhances the understanding of the internal mechanisms that cause changes in the territory. In addition, the model effectively addresses the lack of data in the historical period. The problem of poor results also provides a "top-down" research framework for the evolution of territories and has certain scientific significance.
