Study On Urban Inner Ecological Boundary Based On Remote Sensing Technology

Abstract/Summary:
With the unprecedented speed and scale of urbanization in China,two problems-the erosion of natural landscapes caused by urban construction and neglection of ecological boundary protection in city actual construction,are becoming more and more serious,which provide an opportunity to study the relationship between urban internal ecological boundaries and urban expansion.With the proposal of a new national urbanization strategy,it is more urgent to explore new mechanisms for urban ecological boundaries from the perspective of different disciplines,in order to address the limitations of a single discipline in delineating the city’s urban ecological boundaries.This paper takes Chengdu as an example and mainly applies remote sensing technology in environmental science.It uses a combination of qualitative and quantitative analysis,as well as comparative research as a whole.The author mainly focuses on a superposition of comparative analysis,including urban construction land and urban ecological green space in Chengdu from 1995 to 2016,as well as the two editions of the city’s master plan during this period.Through research,the following major results have been formed:(1)It was verified the internal ecological boundaries of the city and the construction of urban space,which coupling formed the urban space system.(2)Ecological boundaries and urban built-up areas show a kind of game relationship.There is a shift between the urban center area space and the peripheral urban ecological space.The key to this is whether the speed of "increasing or decreasing " in the unit time period is normal,which determines whether the development and expansion of the city is normal.(3)The defining of the city internal ecological boundary is the boundary between the ecological green space and the urban built-up space in urban areas.Because it can distinguish the natural attributes of built-up areas and green spaces,the boundary determines the gene of society-nature-economy.It is essentially the concept of a spatial-temporal boundary that is intertwined with space layouts,fused with each other’s functional configurations,and connected with each other structurally.(4)Based on the evaluation of 2000 and 2011 remote sensing monitoring images of Chengdu’s overall plans in 2011 and 2016,the paper concluded that the actual expansion of the construction land in Chengdu’s main downtown area was generally consistent with the planning,then the demarcation of city internal ecology boundary could be determined by urban planning.
