Urban space is in a period of rapid expansion in recent years. In this process, the development model of "incremental expansion" has becoming hard to sustain increasingly, instead "inventory renewal" is tend to be a tendency of the future development in city.Urban functional zone is one of the important elements in inventory space, and it is of great significance for optimizing the space to identify the functional zones distribution.Nevertheless, constrained by the difficulty and costing of data acquisition, the traditional research on urban space often take focus on the macro scale lacking of the high-resolution space exploration. While with the emergence of open data such as POIs data,OSM data,Weibo check-in data and more,it solves the problems that cannot be solved in previous studies,to a certain extent.Under this background, the fusion of open data and traditional data has become the hot spot in urban space research.Based on multi-source geographic data:open data, the traditional planning data, remote sensing data and so on,this paper focus on identifying the functional zones in the perspective of data fusion and multiple planning integration in Hangzhou city.We first derive parcels from road networks and use the parcels as the basic mapping unit.We then establish the applicable system of function identification. Moreover we use different features derived from different source data to classify parcels into eight classes of functional zones. Finally the land use map released by the government is used to verify the classification results. The results show that the generated land use functional map has an overall accuracy of 75.52%,which makes up for the disadvantage that land use data cannot accurately describe the distribution of functional zones in cities. In addition,on the basis of function recognition results,we analyze the current spatial structure in Hangzhou using nuclear density analysis, location entropy model, nearest neighbor index, moran’s I,geis-ord Gi*and more, with the perspective of multi-scale and multi-elements.It is found that:(1)the functional recombination is quite good under the scale of borough, which present the development trend of different functions fusion. And the functional recombination has special significant heterogeneity under the scale of street and community. The advantage area of different functional elements has presented obvious heterogeneity character.(2)the distribution situation that center agglomeration and peripheral scattered is gradually to be appeared on the functional elements of residence, commerce, public service. And the industry function present distinctly distribution characteristics of suburbanization aggregation. In general, polycentric and group urban expansion are occurring in Hangzhou, but there are many problems in this period, such as the imbalance of land using, the incongruity of function layout, the large gap of public services. It should be adjusted in time in the future.
