For the geophysical exploration of fractured reservoir,the image logging technology is the most advanced and the most direct method.However,the cost of image logging is very high,which limits the application of the image logging technology.The conventional logging data are dominantly used in most oilfield companies of China,thus the effective fracture identification method with conventional logging data in the absence of image logging data is very important.In this paper,the fracture identification method based on conventional logging data is systematically studied,and the advantages and disadvantages of synthetically probability method,wavelet transform method,information entropy method,fractal dimension method,and gini coefficient method are discussed and compared in detail.The software of fracture identification is developed based on Borland C++ Builder,the process results of five wells are compared with measurement results of core samples,thus the validity of the software is confirmed.The results in this paper can offer theoretical reference for the fracture identification of fractured reservoirs without image logging data.
