AWWE(Arbitrarily Wide-angle Wave Equation)can avoid low frequency noise which exists in the migration method using two-way wave equation.The migration method based on AWWE has higher computational efficiency than reverse time migration,and it has higher imaging angle than the methods based on other one-way wave equations.Compared with surface seismic,VSP(Vertical Seismic Profiling)has higher signal to noise ratio and resolution ratio.Therefore,it is becoming more and more important in seismic exploration.The focus of petroleum exploration changes from structural reservoirs to lithologic reservoirs.In order to meet the requirements of complex structure imaging and improve the accuracy of the horizontal transmission medium seismic wave equation migration,prestack depth migration method has become a hot spot in the field of seismic exploration.Thus,the paper chooses the VSP data prestack depth migration based on AWWE as study object.This paper first introduces the modeling method of VSP data and the method of VSP data prestack depth migration based on AWWE.And then the cause of noise and its suppression method are analyzed,the impulse response test is used to test the noise suppression method of AWWE.After that MPI(Message Passing Interface)parallel computing is used to improve the efficiency of the calculation.Finally,the theoretical VSP model and the real VSP data have been tested.According to the study of this paper,a method of VSP data prestack depth migration based on AWWE is introduced.To solve the problem of real VSP data of large amount of computing,MPI is chosen to improve the computation efficiency.Finally,this method is applied to the migration of simulated data and real data,and both get good results.
