The Lufeng 13 structural belts is located in Pearl River Mouth Basin, which is rich in oil and gas resources,is a typical rift basin.Like any other extensional basin in China,is characterized by its complex fracture combination features. The distribution and activity of fractures play an important role in oil and gas accumulation.Fracture can not only be used as a boundary blocking trap, but also the important channel of oil and gas migration. Therefore,it is important to understand the distribution and activity of fracture in oil and gas exploration. This area is a new exploration area and has few information.Previous studies have indicated that the oil and gas distribution in the surrounding area is complex.Based on the structure analysis of 3D seismic data, combined with the evolution of regional stress field data, this article will analysis the fracture property in the Lufeng 13 structural belts, geometric shape and distribution, divide the level of fracture, summary the fracture combination styles and transformation structure types, study the activity characteristics of the fracture and the tectonic evolution process. And the relationship between structure and deposition and the formation of reservoirs is discussed.Studies have shown that the fracture in Lufeng sag are plane normal fault, shovel type normal fault and slope flat type fault. The direction of the fault is NE direction and NWW direction.Which is the result of NW-SE stretching. The mainly structural styles are half graben, graben, horst, fault terrace, rolling anticline et al.Fault activity is mainly divided into three active periods: the intense active period, medium active period and weak active period. The intense active period can be divided into early, middle and late stage.Respectively corresponding the initial rift stage in wen6 period, the strong rift stage in wen5 to wen4 period, the weak rift stage in wen3 to wen1 period.
