Shun 9 well is the first exploration well which get oil and gas flow at the lower Kepingtage group in Tarim Basin.More than half exploration wells drilled in Silurian system shows various hydrocarbons.Low uplift of Shuntuoguole is expected to find 100 million tons scale of reservoirs and revealed a good exploration prospect for the unit.Research on hydrocarbon reservoir characteristics of Silurian system in Shuntuoguole low uplift could help us comprehend the mechanism of the Silurian oil and gas accumulation, and guide oil and gas exploration. The characteristics of the oil was analyzed by some advanced testing technology such as carbon isotope,GC,GC / MS,compared the biomarker characteristics and carbon isotope composition, researched the geochemical characteristics, adopted fluid inclusions in reservoir,K-Ar and Re-Os isotope dating, researched the main period for hydrocarbon accumulation, and then summarized the major control factors of hydrocarbon enrich and the oil and gas accumulation model in low uplift of Shuntuoguole. The results showed that the geochemical characteristics is entirely similar. We can conclude that the petroleum source is the same, was the early filling oil,the source materials were algae, marine plankton, developed in salt water with high reductive environment. The geochemical and fluid inclusions characteristics show that the oil filling is one stage, the homogeneous temperatures of inclusions,K-Ar and Re-Os isotope dating all measured that the early Hercynian was the main period for hydrocarbon accumulation. The favorable regional geological structural setting, excellent reservoir-cover associations,NE strike-slip faults were the major control factors of hydrocarbon enrich, formed a “early-filling,fracture-controlling ” oil accumulation model.
