Simultaneous sources acquisition, which means firing more than one source with small time delay, allows overlapping between seismic records. The advantages of simultaneous sources are that can obtain more seismic records within shorter time. Its profound benefits can improve the subsurface illumination or shorten the survey time. Now,most conventional seismic processes are based on the seismic data without blending. So,whether the blended data can be separated, this means the success or failure of simultaneous sources technology. This paper, based on the summary about the situation and development trend of simultaneous sources acquisition, analyses the parameters of simultaneous sources, and discusses some deblending methods, which contain the median filter, the slope filter and the method based on inversion.Meanwhile, the paper studies the approach to synchronously solve the interpolation and deblending and proposes a periodically varying code to improve deblending.Furthermore, the deblending method which combines the iterative shrinkage threshold algorithm with curvelet transform, has been applied to the two field trials, and obtain very good performance. The main contributions of this paper are as follows: 1)Propose an algorithm which can process deblending and interpolation synchronously for the effective simultaneous shooting technology;2)Design a periodically varying code for improving the deblending performance of simultaneous sources;3)Design two simultaneous sources surveys. And Dagang department.BGP Inc.of CNPC has made two field trials following the two surveys. The final processing results demonstrated the practicability of the two surveys and the deblending algorithm.
