Seismic exploration is an important technology for the oil and gas exploration,the resulting seismic data contains abundant geological information.Seismic attribute technology is an effective method for processing seismic data and extracting seismic attributes from seismic data is the basis of processing seismic data,which has vital significance.In this thesis,the seismic attribute extraction component is studied and designed as a software component mounted in wellseismic system.This component is developed by both Java and Matlab in order to improve efficiency in the mathematical calculations.This thesis firstly expounds the classification,extraction and meaning of seismic attribute,identified attributes that need to be extracted which are instant volume attribute,amplitude volume attribute and conventional instant attribute on a total of three classes and fifteen kinds.The structure of the component is also determined in this part.Then the thesis describes the system design of the component,including components and functions of them,also determined using Hilbert-Huang Transformation in extracting of instant attribute.In the implementation part shows the work of the component and test it with actual data.Using this component may effectively extract kinds of seismic attributes,helping researchers to predict reservoir,which has great value in practise.
