With the surge in global population and the rapid development of economy and society,human for high-quality security demand for water is increasing.However,freshwater resources are not evenly distributed,natural climate abnormal change and industrial pollution of freshwater resources makes global shortage of fresh water crisis is approaching.It is one of the most promising ways to alleviate the crisis by using the solar water desalination technology to get the fresh water which can be used for drinking and irrigation.Although many studies have been carried out on the solar desalination system in the world,the high cost and small scale is still the biggest obstacle to the application of the solar desalination technology.This is due to the low efficiency of the solar heat collection system at high temperature,and the low efficiency of the seawater desalination unit at low temperature.In this paper,on the research achievements of predecessors to carry out analysis and summary,in view of the present solar seawater desalination technology development trend,in order to achieve solar desalination system with low cost and high efficiency,this topic developed a trough concentrating multistage distillation solar seawater desalination device is condensing direct heated solar seawater desalination device;trough CPC solar concentrator with three-way back heat humidification dehumidification desalination distillation device.In this paper,the performance of the device is studied in detail,and the specific research contents are as follows:First,the structure and design principle of trough CPC solar collector are discussed,which gives maximum concentration angle concept and how can it accept the energy.Then design a slotted CPC concentrator,given its structure and energy curve equation to analyze it.The establishment of the corresponding three-dimensional model,analysis software LightTools.The optical performance analysis of optical concentrator.Secondly,from the point of view of thermodynamics,the heat and mass transfer in the trough concentrating multi stage seawater desalination system is analyzed.In order to evaluate the performance of the whole system,the concept of coefficient of performance(GOR)is proposed.Finally,the design and construction of a trough type condenser multi stage seawater desalination plant,the heat and mass transfer mechanism of the internal steam and seawater were studied and analyzed.The performance test of multi channel condenser and multi stage distillation desalination plant in real weather condition,using water instead of sea water.Coefficient of performance(GOR)of the device is calculated.
