Currently, China is the largest country in lead production and consumption, butlead production is restricted by shortage of resources, high wast of energy and pollutionof the environment. Therefore, it is a good choice to recycle lead. This paper aims atexploring a new technology to recycle lead in a cleaner way with the hope of promotingthe efficiency of lead industry in China.In this paper, based on the analysis and research of secondary lead processingtechnology, the new technology is presented, in which the waste lead-acid battery isautomatical splited by CX technology and the secondary lead is produced by blowingsmelting in bottom and alloying directly sheeting lead. Under the instruction of thistechnology, the project of100,000tons of secondary lead was designed and thetechnological conditions were tested and explored through the industrial experiments. Itshows that the technology with a high automatical level, low-energy consumption and ahigh cost-effect does less harm to the environment. The exploration and application ofthe technology is beneficial to improve the concentration of the secondary lead,technical equipment, resource utilization rate and the level of cleaner productiontechnology of the secondary lead. It plays a positive role in promoting the sustainabledevelopment of the secondary lead and is worth generalizing.The author of this paper, engaged in the research of technology management,mainly carries out the technology research including the research ofprocess technology plan, project feasibility research, proposal plan, project managementand project trial production. The major research of this paper are as follows:1. Thehigh-efficiency split technology on lead accumulator has been developed after the absorption and re-innovation of the CX technology.2. Combined with the primary leadadvanced smelting technology, the technology of smelting desulfurization and leadpaste mixed bottom blowing smelting is explored.3. The technology to process wastegrid by direct smelting has been developed.Through the major study mentioned above, a new technology for secondary leadproduction from waste lead accumulator has been developed, with which the separationof waste lead accumulator can be conducted cleanly and efficiently and the splitedresources can also be used with high efficiency. By using this new technology, theresources can be recycled and utilized comprehensively and cleanly, and materials canbe developed in a friendly way to the environment.
