Superabsorbent composite material is the general term for a class of polymers with higher water absorption and water retention properties.Green superabsorbent composites were synthesized by using xyloglucan,diatomite and acrylic acid as raw materials,N,N'-methylenebisacrylamide as a cross-linker and ammonium persulfate as initiator.Through purification of inorganic materials diatomite,the impact of the different methods of purification on superabsorbent composite material was explored.Drying soil,calcination soil and pickling soil were prepared using diatomite modified by different methods,filter aid and silica as adsorbent,a kind of cationic dye rhodamine B as the adsorbate.The curve fitting kinetic studies was explored.After the modification of diatomite through different methods,the influence of diatomite on rhodamine B adsorption rate and capacity was investigated,and then the impact of the addition of diatomite on superabsorbent material was explained.The orthogonal experiment was carried out by quantitative change of xyloglucan,crosslinking agent,initiator,diatomite and neutralization degree to determine the optimal condition for distilled water absorption which was found to be:0.7%initiator,0.05%crosslinker,80%neutralization degree,12%diatomite,14%xyloglucan;normal saline optimal:80%neutralization degree,14%xyloglucan,0.06%cross-linker,18%diatomite,0.7%initiator.The results showed that the Distilled water absorbency optimal solution:1057.06 ± 69.53 g/g Distilled water and 65.67 ± 5.43 g/g normal saline and Normal saline optimal solution:absorption 790.76 ± 3.94 g/g distilled water:82.31 ±2.60 g/g normal saline.The influence of variety factors on the superabsorbent resin absorption capacity was determined.The primary and secondary factors of the absorbency capacity of distilled water were as follow:initiator ? cross-linker?neutralization degree ? diatomite ? xyloglucan;the primary and secondary factors of the absorbency of normal saline were as follow:neutralization degree? xyloglucan ?cross-linker ? diatomite ? initiator.This study investigated the influence of the ratio of xyloglucan,cross-linker,initiator,diatomite and neutralization degree on superabsorbent absorbency capacity for distilled water and normal saline.Moreover,the reason for the effect of various influence factors on the water absorption was explained from the aspects of theory.The effect of the addition of diatomite on water retention of superabsorbent was studied.Furthermore,the water retention capacity of different superabsorbents with various amount of diatomite was determined at different temperature of 45? and 60 ?.
