Nanocomposite insulation material can be used in the manufacture of high voltage DC cable with excellent space charge inhibition ability and DC breakdown strength.But the mechanism of improving the dielectric properties of nanocomposites is still not clear.The researchers have proposed several models to explain the dielectric properties of nano dielectrics.The general consensus is that there are a large number of interface domains in nanocomposite materials,which may have a charge layer in the interface can affect the macro electrical properties of the composite materials.But there is still no direct experimental evidence to confirm the presence of interfacial charged layer in nanocomposite media.And the nanocomposite has the better space charge inhibition ability and lower DC electrical conductivity.In this paper,we have compared with the Zeta potential of different kinds of nanocomposite particles dispersed in liquid paraffin,and Zeta potential values of different nano fillers were tested.It was found that the Zeta potential value of different fillers was negatively related to the DC conductivity of the composite medium.There is the lower conductivity which the nanocomposite with the higher Zeta potential value.The remote phase diagrams of nanocomposites were compared by the static electricity microscope.The charge behavior of nanocomposite materials was studied,and even explore the interfacial behavior of inorganic nano particles in the composite.It was found that the SiO2/LDPE and Si C/LDPE have a clear interface charge distribution,which can restrain betterly the space charge by the two kinds of nanocomposite materials.The absolute value of Zeta potential of two kinds of fillersis also higher than other fillers.The Zeta potential and the static electricity microscope test are confirmed mutually.The experimental results are a powerful proof for the interfacial charge theory in the world,and there is a certain significance of the research on the mechanism of nanocomposite dielectric materials.
