CASS (Cyclic Activated Sludge System) process is an enhancement of the SBR process. Cover a small area, simple process flow, flexible operation, easy to program, strong adaptability to water quality and water quantity change, can take the advantages of denitrification and phosphorus removal at the same time. With the development of electronics and automation technology, CASS technology has been widely used in Europe, America and many other countries of the urban sewage and all kinds of industrial wastewater treatment.In this study,used slaughter wastewater as the research object,usedair flotation+ hydrolytic acidification+CASS biological technology to conduct on-site commissioning ofslaughter wastewater treatment, combined with the experimental to determine the system operating parameters.(1)Using air flotation+hydrolytic acidification+CASS as slaughterwastewater treatment,effluent can achieve stable "meat processing industrial water pollutant discharge standard" (GB13457-92) level 3 standard and the sewage treatment plant taking over standard;The research results show that the technological process in slaughter wastewater treatment has good effect, less quantity of sludge at the same time, saving investment, low running cost, and wide applicable scope.(2) In view of the slaughter wastewater, using air flotation+hydrolytic acidification +CASS process, average removal rate of COD is 90%, average removal rate of ammonia nitrogen is90%,after processing the sewage is discharged to standard.(3) The project total investment is about 8.729 million yuan, tons of waste water cost is 1.17 yuan.
