With the continuous improving of the industrial level of the steel industry, the demand for the good flatness quality has been increased more and more. Without the the good flatness quality, it will lead to uneven distribution of tension in width of strip. And it is easy to have bad influence on flatmess. So we need a reliable control system to adjust flatness deviation. About the technology of the flatness control foreign research is easier than us. But we bring in foreign core technology which is in the "black box". Due to setting password of some progressive flatness control skill in foreign country, especial core procedure in the "black box", it brings big troubles to the company who wants to optimize and upgrade the flatness control system with applying foreign progressive flatness control skill. It lead to relying on foreigners and losing competitive advantage to foreigners. So it is significant to develop our own flatness control procedure. Above all, the most significant part of the flatness control procedure is the calculating of actuator adjustment, because the part is closed off. So the study is aiming at the "black box" problem, and the main work is as following:(1) Consult a lot of literature and book about flatness, understand calculation model of cold roll and construction of pivotal flatness control device. Find out pivotal flatness elements and characteristic of them. Flatness signal measured by shapemeter is very important to flatness control and deviation adjustment. Especially, flatness signal at edge zone is obtain by a series of transform.(2) Autonomously apply feasible direction method set up mathematics model of actuator adjustment:Calculation of flatness adjustment is the core part of flatness control. The result of flatness control is depended on the accuracy of adjustment. Deduce evaluation function about flatness deviation. Merely evaluation function is the indication of flatness deviation, nevertheless how to make flatness deviation decrease is key. Creativiely apply feasible direction method, by mathematics deduce, to obtain best result of evaluation function.(3) Autonomously develop c procedure of calculating flatness actuator adjustment:A lot of foreign advanced technology is encoded. Especially, core procedure is in the "black box". So is the procedure of calculating flatness actuator adjustment. So autonomously set up mathematics model, and switch it into equivalence mathematics model which is more fit to write c procedure. And use example to analysis result of the c procedure about flatness adjustment.
