Orebody mining within the fracture zone is always one of the difficulty subjects in mining industry.orebody with unstable surrounding rock is loosen and broken and the shape is mostly irregular. Especially, rock near orebody has developed joint fissures, which cause that roadway excavation and supporting are very difficult. Theseabove-mentioned problems are all crucial factors affecting mining.This Paper focuses on the the technical problems for high efficient mining within the fracture zone on the background of Jiu Zhanggou Gold Mine of Henan Shanjin Mining Co Ltd. Based on the actual engineering geology and mining technolgy, the method combined with actual measurement and theoretical analysis is used to research mining method within the fracture zone. Centered on the investigation, the following work is carried out:(1)Rock mechanics parameters are determined by indoor rock mechanics experiments. The detailed engineering geological data is obtained by advanced ShapeMetrix 3D digital photogrammetry measuring system and joint investigage in site. Based the survey data, the stability of rock mass was classified.(2) Based the survey result above, four feasibility schemes are proposed. Combining with practical situation in site, the sublevel open stoping with delayed filling is adopted finally by technological and economic comparative. Furthermore, the mining technology is discussed in detail.(3)FLAC3D software is adopted to analyze the rule of the variation of the stress and displacement during mining process. We forecast the underground pressure activity law quantificationally during the mining period and evaluate the mining stability during and after mining process, and so confirm the feasibility of mining method.
