DD6 nickel-base single crystal super alloy, known as the second generation of nickel-base single crystal super alloy, is China's own development success. It is characterized by good casting performance, high temperature strength, good organizational stability and overall performance capacity.Because DD6 alloy contains insoluble elements Ta,Re, W, Mo, using traditional methods and chemical analysis by ICP-AES are required to dissolve the samples measured after treatment to complete the analysis, it is difficult to meet the modern requirements of the progress of the physical and chemical detection and analysis.X-ray fluorescence spectrometry(XRF) does not need to dissolve the sample, so it is a non-destructive analysis. It is able to measure a variety of elements at the same time. However, the problem of the standard sample has always been the most difficult one in using XRF method, and therefore it restricts the application of XRF method. In this thesis, for each element in X-ray fluorescence spectrometry(XRF), choice tests are done involving its channel type, its sensor type, crystal type, tube current, and tube voltage. Then optimal spectrometer analysis parameters are determined when testing chemical composition of DD6 alloy. Then various factors affecting the accuracy of the test results of the analysis are corrected:(1) Measured background method of is used to correct background;(2) fundamental parameter method and PH mode are employed to determine the interference correction factor of each element;(3) In the absence of DD6 alloy standard sample spectrum case, three groups of control samples are chosen and analyzed in accordance with HB requirements / Z206-91. What is more, analysis results are corrected. By regression analysis and evaluation, the quality factor K values were between 0.01 to 0.10. Therefore, the correction has a good effect. the testing procedure of analysis of DD6 alloy chemical composition are established. Finally, precision experiments are done with the experimental data obtained by the established testing procedures. The relative standard deviation(RSD) of the elements analyzed are less than 2.0%; results from different analytic methods(ICP-AES, the chemical method) contrast show that under the 95% confidence level, F measuring <F table(F table =4.43), t test <t table(t table = 2.145). Comparing XRF method and the ICP-AES chemical method, variance in DD6 alloy content of each element isconsistent. Two methods had no significant differences in compliance with the requirements of chemical analysis. It can be used as the main means to detect metallic materials and to implement quality control for companies and enterprises.
