At present, due to the rapid development of economy in our country, the quantity of motor vehicles increase sharply. With the consumption of coal and oil rising, particle pollution has become the primary problem of pollution. The ash haze weather that is very harmful to human body has occurred frequently. It is found that the incidence of cardiovascular disease and respiratory disease has much to do with the particulate matter pollution. The ecosystem could be destroyed when the concentration of particles pollutant in the atmosphere reaches a certain degree. How to effectively assess atmospheric particulate matter pollution has attracted wide attention. In view of the current serious environmental pollution, the state environmental protection department held the seminar in Beijing in November 2011. The air environmental function zone was divided into three functional areas, and PM2.5 was added as a routine project of air pollutants control. Furthermore, the project of heavy metals was included in the appendix. Besides, because the number of air quality evaluation factor was too few to reflect the real quality of the air condition,03 was added as an evaluation factor. The number of evaluation factors was from three to seven.PM2.5 which is harmful to human body mainly comes from vehicle emissions, industrial waste gas, construction site dust and coal combustion. To analyze particle pollution accurately, we select three test sites according to the differences of urban functions in Panjin. By studying the component and concentration change of particulate matter in monitoring site, we come to the conclusion that the air environmental quality of Panjin is affected by the type of fine particulate matter, meteorological condition and atmospheric pollutants long-distance migration. In this paper, the component of PM10 and PM2.5 was studied, and the metallic elements and polycyclic aromatic hydrocarbons loaded on the particulate matter were analyzed. Besides, we emphasized proportion and influence of heavy metals and organic pollutants in PM10 and PM2.5. Particulate matters pollution of different sites has been analyzed detailedly from multiple aspects, by using the single factor evaluation, enrichment factor evaluation, normalization evaluation and equivalent toxicity evaluation. In the study of polycyclic aromatic hydrocarbons loaded on particles, the toxicity equivalent factor was introduced. This research provides the data basis and theoretical support for the prevention and control measures of aromatic hydrocarbons and benzopyrene. Furthermore, we made a preliminary analysis for the health risk of Panjin and provided some scientific basis for the prevention and control of atmospheric pollution and environmental management.
