The presence of nonylphenol in water is harmful to human health, therefore developing a kind of effective and economic method of nonyl phenol removal is imminent. The experiment finally selected pine needles as adsorbent by the comparison of many kinds of adsorbent which is used to adsorp the nonylphenol in the water by the adsorption method. At the static experiments, the article apply to adsorption kinetics and adsorption thermodynamic analysis, by changing some condition such as he temperature, time, pH value, and the amount of adsorbent, It is study that when the condition which is concentration of 10 mg/L, temperature 25?, pH of 7, adsorbent additive amount of 10 g, the removal rate of alkylphenol is 96% or more. The adsorbent process accords with Freundlich adsorption isotherm and first-order kinetics model. On the basis of static adsorption experiment, The dynamic experiment continue to do. It is by changing the inlet velocity and concentration, adsorption of dosing quantity and other conditions that the article determined the penetration time, the breakthrough point and establishing the dynamic model. These results can be used for the future design of the adsorption process of auxiliary materials.
