Seven novel compounds have been successfully synthesed under solvothermal conditions using nitrogen heterocyclic ligands.The structure and properties have been detailed characterized and analysis.The thesis is divided into five chapters,which are summarized as below:The first chapter briefly introduces environmental pollution and its present situation, the research progresses and application of metal oganic complexes have been summarized and illustrated.Finally, the aims and advances of this work are also outlined.The second chapter, two coordination complexes:[Zn2?tptc??bpa?x?H2O?2-x]?1?, [?CH3?2NH2][Co3?tptc?2]?2? have been achieved by hydrothermal synthesis from quaterphenyl-3,3?,5,5?-tetracarboxylic acid?H4tptc? ligand with different metal salts.Compound 1 is based on the paddle-wheel dinuclear [Zn2?COO?4]secondary building units?SBUs?,finally form an Nb O type 3Dframework. The solvent accessible free volume of the channel is57.1% of the total volume, I2 adsorption capacity is 206 wt %. In addition, Compound 1 shows pale purple emissions; at the same time, compound 1 exhibits extremely high quenching efficiency of95% for 30 ppm NB, which can serve as a sensitive chemosensor for explosive detection. Compound 2 presents?4,8?-connected flu topology 3D framework with pore rate was 38.4%.Magnetic studies indicate that 2 displays antiferromagnetic behavior.The third chapter, vertex-shared metal chain coordination comound:[Zn2?tpzi???3-O?2?H2O?2][?CH3?2NH2]?3? has been achieved by hydrothermal synthesis from5-?4-?tetrazol-5-yl?phenyl?isophthalic acid?tpzi? with different metal salts. Compound 3 is the trinuclear metal cluster based microporous anion frameworks. In addition, compound 3 can effective sensing nitro explosives?NB, DNT and TNP?, the TNP quenching efficiency is highest, Ksvis 5.5985×104M-1. It is interesting to note, that compound 3 can be effectively selective adsorption of cationic dye molecules?Azure, crystal violet,methylene blue?. What,s more, the dye adsorption and release process is reversible. Dye molecules are released in a saturated solution of Na Cl in DMF.The fourth chapter, four coordination complexes:Cd?1,3-bptm??H2O?2?4?,Co?1,3-bptm??5?,[Cu4?1,3-bptm-O?4?H2O?4?C2H5OH?4]?OH?2[SO4]?6?, [Cu3?SO4??trz-C5N-C2H5?][S2O8]?7? have been achieved by hydrothermal synthesis from 1,1-Bis?5-?pyrid-3-yl?-1,2,4–triazol-3-yl? methane?1,3-bptm? with different metal salts.Compound 4, which crystallizes in acentric space group,has 1D chain structure. Powder Second-Harmonic-Generation measurements exhibited that SHG intensity of compound 4 was approximately 1.8 times that of KDP. Besdes, compound 4 shows pale yellow luminescence; and it can effective sensing nitro explosives?NB, DNT and TNP?, the TNP quenching efficiency is highest, Ksvis 4.3 x 103M-1. Compound 5 is?4,4? layered structure.Interestingly,complexes 4 and 5 with uncoordinated N atoms can act as Lewis base and an effective heterogeneous organocatalyst for the Knoevenagel condensation. Complexes 6 and 7 were made by spiral chain, the difference is that compound 6 contains SO42–anion and compound 7 contains S2O82–anion.What,s more,the valance of Cu between compounds 6 and 7 is different,which is+2 in compound 6 and is +1 in compound 7. Because Cu+has reducibility.Thus compound 7 can effectively degrade heavy metals Cr6+ions in sewage.The fifth chapter, a concise conclusion is drawn and a prospect of this research area is anticipated.
