VOCs is an important precursor of PM2.5 and ozone generation,VOCs is one of the main causes of fog,so it has very important significance for VOCs governance.Catalytic oxidation method can effectively put the volatile organic compounds in low temperature processing,high efficient catalyst become the key of life.Low quality sepiolite is a kind of natural zeolite,with a certain specific surface area,and the price is low.But the lack of low grade sepiolite high value-added product development.To solve above problems,this paper intends to develop low quality sepiolite as catalytic carrier,load transition metal,catalytic oxidation of volatile organic compounds.To optimize the catalyst preparation process,to study the optimal sepiolite catalyst toluene degradation process,the activation energy calculation of sepiolite catalyst for catalytic oxidation of toluene.This study pretreatment purification of low quality sepiolite by adding acid and hot water,purification of sepiolite.The pretreatment sepiolite was characterized by XRD TEM and BET.Characterization results shows that pretreatment of sepiolite has high purity,good dispersion and high specific surface area.Then to load copper,manganese metal oxide.It has excellent catalytic oxidation activity.The catalysts were characterized by XRD,BET,TEM,EDX and active test.Active component load to the surface and porous internal of the sepiolite,copper-manganese spinel as active ingredient.In the spinal/sepiolite catalyst has been studied in the mixed doping rare earth element cerium can enhance the catalytic activity of catalyst.When doping ratio is 0.2,its catalytic efficiency is highest.The life of the catalyst and the effect of space velocity of sepiolite catalyst is investigated.For the optimal sepiolite forming,compared with other molding efficiency of catalyst,sepiolite has good cost performance.This study using MVK model which based on the use of oxidation-reduction mechanism to kinetic model development which catalytic toluene.Calculate the reaction activation energy.The Surface oxidation activation energy of 20% CuMn2Ce0.2 / sepiolite catalyst is 26.07 kJ·mol-1 and the surface reduction is 23.59 kJ·mol-1.
