Electrical steels is an important soft magnetic alloys in electronic, electric, and military industries, which has a high magnetic induction and low iron loss characteristics. Rolling direction and transverse direction of Cube texture are all<001> direction, which is the easiest magnetization direction. So it is the most ideal texture component for grain oriented and grain non-oriented electrical steels. But it is hard to get cube texture in body centered cubic. Moreover, the current developed methods to manufacture cube texture electrical steel are not suitable for industrial productionIdeal initial orientations can make the electrical steel deform cube texture during the cold rolling process, which can help gain a sharp cube texture in recrystallization. In this paper, Crystal plasticity theory is successfully achieved in ABAQUS finite software by developing the user defined subroutine, and orientation fluxion of single crystals in plane strain compression is researched in this paper, which with the initial orientations of ND//<001>, RD//<001> and TD//<001>. In addition, effect of different neighbor crystals is considered.The main research results are as follows:(1) The reduction is 50% in single crystals, with the increase of the deformation, initial cube orientation is always very stable, the initial ND//<001> orientations whose deviation angles from cube are greater than 10° gather to{001}<110>, and the initial RD//<001> and TD//<001> orientations whose deviation angles from cube are greater than 10° gather to cube orientation?(2) In bi-crystals, neighbor crystals with{110}<001> and{110}<001> orientation can help the RD//<001> and TD//<001> orientation crystals gather to cube orientation, and the neighbor crystals with{112}<110>,{111}<110> and{111}<110> orientation make the RD//<001> and TD//<001> orientation crystals deviate from the cube orientation.This present study get a theoretical method to obtain cube code rolling texture in electrical steel, and provide a theoretical reference to the development of the project.
