Lurgi gasification process wastewater treatment has been a major problem in the field of wastewater treatment at home and abroad. Since the complicated composition of the pollutants in wastewater, such as volatile phenols, polycyclic aromatic hydrocarbons, ammonia nitrogen and heterocyclic compounds such as oxygen sulfur nitrogen and so on, it become the high concentration organic industrial wastewater which is more difficult to be biochemically degraded.This paper studies the technology belonging to the field of chemical engineering and environmental protection science technology, the original pretreatment route for phenol ammonia of industrial wastewater produced by PKM gasifier was deacidification?extraction?deamination and solvent recovery meanwhile, which is not a good way to treat the wastewater for the emission index can not reach the national standard. Though theoretical research and experimental verification, developing a new pretreatment technology process, using the single-tower pressurized heating steam stripping technique to achieve deamination, the deacidification in a tower and after the process, the wastewater which pH is about 6.5 has been cooled down to 40?60? and get into the upper of extraction column. Using MIBK as the extraction agent which get into from the bottom of the extraction column countercurrent flow with the water to extraction dephenolization. It made a breakthrough in the treatment of PKM gasifier wastewater containing phenol and ammonia and set a successful demonstration on Lurgi gasification process wastewater treatment.
