In this paper, Q235 steel is used as welding base material,Co60 alloy powder as the base material of cladding, and SiO2 as the agent of A-TIG. After experiment,analysis surface forming and cross-sectional dimension of the weld,and then verify the feasibility of SiO2 as active flux.The mixed powder of Co60+6%B4C+5%flux is used as pre-test of cladding materials,then using orthogonal experimental analysis to determine the optimum process parameters of Q235 steel A-TIG cladding active cobalt-based boride coating.Based on this,changing the content of B4C added,which between 2% to 10%,While adding SiO2 as contrast agent within each group,then start A-TIG cladding by the optimal process parameters.Use rockwell hardness to test the section hardness of the cladding surface;Use optical microscope and scanning electron microscope to analysis the microstructure of cladding;Use wear machine to test the wear of cladding;While use different testing methods to analysis the corrosion and erosion resistance of the cladding layer,further more validation SiO2 and different amounts of B4C feasibility of adding argon for Q235 steel cladding Co-based boride coating technology.Experimental results show that:The overall performance of the active agent added SiO2 cladding layer is better then that no active agent cladding.There are Co2B?Mn2B?CrB2 and other new phase in the non-active agent into the cladding layer,and after adding SiO2 active agents, not only Co2B?Mn2B?CrB2, but also W3CoB3?Cr3B4?Cr3C2?Co2SiO4 even other new phase produce.Cobalt-based boride coating improves the wear and corrosion properties of pure Co60 coating.Wear experiments show that:compared to pure Co60 coatings,When there is no active agent added, abrasive wear resistance?abrasion resistance?adhesion properties?erosion resistance were improved by 1.36?3.69 times?1.49?4.01 times?1.5?2.58 times; After adding the active agent were improved by 1.6?4.96 times?1.66?5.09 times?1.65?3.23 times;Corrosion resistance experiments show that:compared to pure Co60 coatings,Static acid corrosion resistance?oil resistance?static medium corrosion resistance?corrosion resistance and dynamic oil medium oil medium+quartz sand erosion performance were improved by 1.46?2.83 times? 1.5?2.15 times?1.5?2.11 times and 1.41?1.79 times, After adding the active agent were improved by 1.75?3.42 times?1.72?2.46 times?1.62?2.2 times?1.58?1.89 times.
