According to the short of the controlling system of cantilever roadheader at home, the controlling system of the EBZ230 cantilever roadheader which adopts the technology of DSP2812 and industrial control computer have been developed in this paper. Adopting the TI's TMS320C2812 DSP as the core chip and the PIC18F458 single chip as the auxiliary control chip, the lower computer completed the data acquisition, data processing and outgoing control. What's more the upper computer software adopt an visual tools for development C++Builder that launched by Borland company. The two parts are connected by RS485 interface and accomplished the communication between IPC and DSP by MODBUS communication protocol. In that way, the whole control system can make the functions, such as data display, cartoon and curve display, alarm, historic data save and so on make true.In view of random distribution of rock in mine, in order to achieve the adaptive cutting of roadheader cutting head, in this paper, we apply the PID controller which based on fuzzy RBF neural network to the adaptive control process of roadheader cutting department. To our surprise, we get a good effect.Through the research and development of roadheader control system, many matters about roadheader such as the whole roadheader supervisory control and integrated protection of roadheader troubles can solve. For the one thing, we can find the accident potential to avoid the accident that is an important meaning for the harmonious society build. For the another, it can prove the automation level of roadheader at home which has a positive meaning of improving the capability of independent innovation.
