Nowadays,along with the increase of storage tank number,the safety risk of storage tank whose operating period was more than ten years would also increase,regardless of the size,the general designed life of the oilcan is 20 ~ 30 years,besides,the medium stored in it is mostly flammable and explosive,and is harmful to environment.Along with the extension of use time and influence of environmental medium,the material of storage tank will aging and corrode and appear other defect unavoidably,which will cause the decline of storage tank safety degree and the ability to resist sudden load,combined with the the ceaseless re-dispatch and change of pressure or liquid level of tank medium,the tank bottom defect is most likely to cause medium leakage,which will result in serious economic loss and environmental and ecological pollution.So the development of detection and analysis of atmospheric storage tank bottom defect and maintenance technology research is of vital importance to ensure the safe operation of the tank in the daily production and improve storage safety and reduce the loss in disaster during the sudden load.Aiming at the characteristics of material and anti-corrosion of the oil storage tank bottom,this thesis grasped the cause of pitting corrosion and the change rule of corrosion of tank bottom plate under the condition of corrosive environment,and then we can predict and evaluate the corrosion status of tank bottom plate combined with the tank bottom plate corrosion,analyze the reason of tank bottom plate corrosion,compare and analyze the detection method of tank bottom defect in storage tanks which are still in service.In order to ensure the safety operation of storage tanks which are still in service,carry out security assessment technology research which is based on risk,formulate failure mode inspection procedure which is based on the risk,this thesis confirms the maintenance and upgrade method of storage tank based on the risk-based research background of large storage tanks failure analysis and according to the procedures of actual case and the design,manufacture,maintenance,inspection provided by testing institutions.
