In this paper,based on the research background of the stainless steel heat exchanger(E102A/B)in urea plant,the failure mode of the typical stainless steel heat transfer equipment was studied.MP decomposition and E102A/B is the SNAM ammonia stripping provided the patent technology of urea plant key equipment,its function is further decomposition of urea stripper solution without decomposition of ammonium carbamate,to improve access to the concentration of urea solution L-102.Because of the corrosion of urine and ammonium chloride solution,the corrosion problem has been the problem of the urea enterprises to solve the problem.And because of the high temperature of the medium voltage decomposition,it is very close to the speed of 158-160,which is very close to the accelerated corrosion temperature of 316 L material.Evaluation of the corrosion status of the equipment is not only beneficial to the equipment management,but also can effectively prevent the non planned shutdown.To ensure safe and efficient production,it is necessary to carry out effective monitoring and standardization management for the corrosion status of urea plant,and to predict the corrosion trend,and to evaluate the corrosion defects.Aiming at the serious corrosion of E102(A/B),the research on the equipment structure,material selection,processing and manufacturing,process operation and so on.Finally,the method of solving the corrosion problem is found.
