Hexane dehydration plays an important role in the production process of ethylene propylene rubber. Molecular sieve dehydration tank dewatering ability determines the smooth operation of the production plant, water content in hexane exceeded led directly to the polymerization of stop, such as a petrochemical plant of ethylene propylene rubber exist hexane water content exceed the standard problem has seriously affected the operation of production facilities. Therefore, reasonable selection of molecular sieve and dehydration equipment is very important.Through the review of the literature, in-depth study of the ethylene propylene rubber production and development, selection of molecular sieve dehydration adsorption method to remove hexane water molecules; for hexane physical properties, select 3A molecular sieve dehydration adsorbent, calculation and analysis of the original dehydration tank dewatering ability, to find out the influence of molecular sieve dehydration effect factors; through to analyzing the original removal tank operation to determine the removal of technical parameters of main parts of the tank, finished off the tank design, structure transformation.The high recovery rate and low energy consumption of the dehydration tank after modification provided a reference for the similar engineering problems, and it has important engineering application value.
