In this thesis,two fluorescent probes CZBI and PCN was synthesized and used for the detection of sulfite.This thesis contains five chapters.Chapter one: Literature review.In this section,I explain what is the mechanism of fluorescence,what factors will affect the production and the expression of the fluorescent and some basic concepts about the fluorescence.At the same time,the first chapter introduces some fluorescent probe of different response mechanism.The second chapter:The probe was synthesized by the condensation of pyreneformaldehyde with ethyl 2-cyanoacetate.The probe underwent a Michael addition reaction with sulfite,which resulted in a large emission wavelength shift???= 137 nm?.The probe displayed fast response?within 30 s?and high selectivity for sulfite over other anions and bio-thiols.The fluorescence intensity ratios decreased linearly with concentration of SO32-from 0 to 15 ?M with a low detection of limit?12nM?.A paper test strip was developed to rapid detect sulfite with good performance.The probe was employed to detect sulfite in real samples with good recovery.The amount of Na2SO3 in granulated sugar and crystal sugar were calculated to be 18.5and 15.3 mg/kg,respectively.The third chapter: In this section,I report a ratiometric fluorescent probe?CZBI?for SO2 derivatives based on the conjugate of benzo[e]indolium and carbazole,which displays colorimetric and ratiometric fluorescence dual response to HSO3-.The probe can quantitatively detect HSO3-with high specificity,fast response?within 40 s?as well as low detection limit?10 nM?.Fluorescence co-localization studies demonstrated that CZBI was a specific mitochondria-targeted fluorescent probe for SO2 derivatives with excellent cell membrane permeability.Furthermore,fluorescence imaging of HeLa cell indicated that the probe could be used for monitoring the intrinsically generated intracellular SO2 derivatives in living cells.The fourth chapter: A new family of anthracene carboxyimides dyes have been successfully synthesized and characterized.Their optical properties are investigate by UV-Vis absorption spectroscopy and fluorescence spectroscopy.The anthracene crboxyimides 5a and 5b display high fluorescence quantum yields??f > 0.82?and good photostability in common solvents.Furthermore,cell staining experiments showed that anthracene imide with di?picolyl?amine group was membrane permeable and selectively stained cytosol in living cells.The fifth chapter: Conclusion,which summarizes the research content and achievements.
