As one of the most attractive researches,porous polymeric material has been used in a variety of the practical applications,such as supports for adsorption and separation materials,ion-exchange resin,biological tissue engineering scaffolds,biomolecular immobilization,optics sensors,catalysts,packing materials in chromatography and templates for structure replications.Therefore there is important meaning in synthesis and modification research for this kind of material.This paper summarizes the research and application of porous polymer material prepared by high internal phase emulsion template.We designed and synthesized MTQ silicone resin containing 3-methyl-acryloyloxy propyl.In addition,MTQ silicone resin as cross-linker and comonomer,and 2-ethylhexyl acrylate(EHA)or styrene(St)was used as the monomer.The PEHA/MTQ and PSt/MTQ silicone-based polyHIPE porous materials were prepared by high internal phase emulsions(HIPE)template method.1.Homemade MTQ silicone resin as cross-linker and co-monomer,PEHA/MTQ polyHIPE porous materials was prepared by HIPE.The voids diameter of PEHA/MTQ was between 4-10 ?m and the pores diameter was between 0.3-2 ?m.All of the PEHA/MTQ voids were linked closely,the pores were uniform distribution and the channels were narrow.The amount of EHA/MTQ ratio has the slight effect on the specific surface and the pore volume.However,the thermal stability and compressive strength of PEHA/MTQ could be improved by EHA/MTQ ratio,and the maximum loss rate of thermal weight temperature is up to 411.5? under N2 atmosphere.2.MTQ silicone resin as cross-linker and co-monomer,PS/MTQ polyHIPE porous materials was prepared by HIPE.The PS/MTQ have three-dimensional spherical voids and rich interconnection pores in voids wall,connectivity was good,and the diameters of pores range from about 2?m to 9?m with the average diameters between 0.35-1.85 ?m.The total porosity of the PS/MTQ could be controlled by changing the processing parameters,and could reach as high as 92%.Additionally,the compressive strength of PS/MTQ could be obtained between 0.28-0.74 MPa,and compressive modulus was between 4.86-13.54 MPa.With the increasing the amount of toluene,which works as the porogen,the voids diameter of the PS/MTQ porous polymeric materials tend to decrease firstly and then increase;However,the interconnection pores diameter of the PS/MTQ porous polymeric materials tend to increase.When there is no porogen in the experiment,both the voids and interconnection pore diameters of the PS/MTQ porous polymer materials reach the maximum values.The dispersed phase increases with the volume fraction(>80 vol%),the pore diameter of the porous polymeric foam material substantially first increases and then decreases;porous polymeric material interconnected pore diameter was gradually increasing trend.
