Research On Application Of Gaudi Buildings Art Characteristics In The Clothing Design

Architecture art and clothing art have many common characteristics.From the perspective of clothing design,the typical artistic characteristics of the natural curve(arc,spiral and parabolic),the local flavor on color and decorative texture(tactile and visual)of Gaudi architectures were extracted and analyzed,which showed very distinctive artistic features.The "Curve" of the modeling,the color of the "Blue" and the "Change" of decoration texture were implemented by "the single curve linear distribution and variety of three-dimensional curve combination","the same color scheme mixing and scatter distribution with combination of different colors" and "sense of out-of-order collage technique and embedded technology of strewn at random," respectively.Based on the analysis and exploration of the form,color as well as the texture of Gaudi art morphological characteristics,the artistic expression characteristics of clothing and the architectural were detailed compared,then the Gaudi architecture language were converted to the clothing design language,in the aspects such as model,color and fabric analysis and reorganization through the practically design of the small samples,which presented the expected styles of <<imagination song>> clothing.And further through the design methods such as the deconstruction and reconstruction of structure,the structure integration design,fabrics,stacking and packing design,as well as fabrics addition decorative design,the characteristics of the single curve linear distribution and variety of three-dimensional curve combination "," the same color scheme mixing and scatter distribution with combination of different colors were achieved.Additionally,the digital printing technology improved the clothing design results.The study converted Gaudi architecture art language to garment design language comprehensively,and designed three clothing with Gaudi design artistic characteristics,which achieved the organic naturalism aesthetic curve feeling and the romantic imagination of expression.
