Aiming at representative fission product 90 Sr and neutron activation product 54 Mn in low level radioactive wastewater, application on radioactive water treatment by a carrier tape coprecipitation microfiltration process was studied. The process combines the advantage of chemical precipitation and membrane technology. Not only having a better treatment effect, but also solving the problem of solid-liquid separation hard in precipitation. The process has a good treatment effect of strontium and manganese with a higher decontamination factor and produces small volume of sludge with a high concentration factor which can be more than 2000,so it has an excellent value of adhibition. In this paper, the combined strontium and manganese-contained wastewater treatment effect was investigated by the process when temperature, the dose of sodium carbonate and ion strength which were different. The paper analyzed the reason of the effect through the comparison of detection indexes and parameters thus evaluated the treatment effect of strontium and manganese.Firstly, the strontium and manganese combined wastewater treatment effect was investigated by the combination process when the temperature was 6?,16?,27?,respectively. The results showed that the treatment effect of strontium was influenced greatly by temperature but there was nearly no effect on manganese in composite wastewater. The average concentrations and the decontamination factor(DF) values of strontium were 9.310 ?g/L,13.00 ?g/L,24.78 ?g/L and 674.5,464.3,211.9,respectively. The average concentrations and the decontamination factor(DF) values of manganese were 0.395 ?g/L,0.325 ?g/L,0.354 ?g/L and 1.306×104,1.511×104,1.410×104,respectively. With the increase of temperature, the treatment effect of strontium became lower. It was in contrast to previous studies of wastewater contained strontium. As precipitation, sodium carbonate had certain influence on the treatment effect in the process. The treatment effect was investigated by the combination process when the dose of sodium carbonate was 0.5 g/L and 1.0 g/L,respectively. The results showed that the mean DFs of strontium and manganese of two texts were 224.8,464.3 and 8.320×103,1.511×104,respectively. Increased the dose of sodium carbonate is helpful to the treatment of strontium and manganese which in composite wastewater. However, the increase of pH value made subsequent treatment more difficult when the dose of sodium carbonate increased.Iron strength of the inflow had a significant impact on the treatment of combination process. There were two contrast tests. One which raw water configurated by 2m3 tap water and another configurated by 1m3 tap water and 1m3 distilled water. The results showed that the treatment effect of strontium would become better when the iron strength increased, however the contrary of manganese. The average DFs of strontium and manganese were 168.5,211.9 and 2.093×104,1.410×104,respectively.
