In the aluminum electrolytic capacitor industry, one of the effective ways to improve the capacitance of the capacitor is increasing real surface area of the anode aluminum foil. Reasonable corrosion method is an effective method to form tunnel pits on the surface of the aluminum foil, so as to enlarge the effective area. The through chemical and electrochemical corrosion method of corrosion process of high voltage electronic aluminum foil pretreatment, hole and reaming technology, mechanism of corrosion of aluminum foil to make a certain interpretation and explanation.Experiments using scanning electron microscopy of etched aluminum foil surface were observed, comparison of different schemes of corrosion on aluminum foil surface morphology; electrochemical analyzer for aluminum foil in the liquid corrosion, corrosion parameters were measured, corrosion of aluminum foil in different corrosive liquid difficulty degree and rate; finally, through computer simulation technology, using simulation software materials studio software, aluminium crystals were simulation calculation, electronic aluminum foil different isomorphous face stability and corrosion mechanism of was discussed through the analysis of the(100),(110)(111) three crystal plane of the electron density and electrostatic potential.In the study, it was found that pretreatment have late reaming effect significantly to electronic aluminum foil, the process can adjust aluminium foil surface structure, improve the state, which in the late expansion of corrosion on the surface of the aluminum foil to form a large number of uniform corrosion holes, so as to effectively expand aluminum foil effective area. Through the computer simulation research of aluminum foil crystal face, corrosion mechanism of aluminum foil was analysis and discussion. It is analysis the difficulty degree of corrosion of aluminum foil of different crystal surface(100),(110)(111) face. In the crystal process of aluminum corrosion, the corrosion has certain crystallographic characteristics, due to the preferred direction is the minimum elastic modulus, the lattice distortion and elastic modulus of distortion is small,(100) surface is easier segregation more impurity atoms, the corrosion activation increased, in the corrosion process, making the number of pit on the surface greatly increased, and(110)(111) surface in corrosion, structure of the crystal face the basic in a passive state, thus the corrosion slower. The crystal surface corrosion characteristic of the electronic aluminum foil is willing to be able to expand the effective surface area of the etched foil.Through the analysis and understanding of the corrosion mechanism of aluminum foil, understanding of the micro process of corrosion, we study and improve the corrosion process of aluminum foil, and improve the effective surface area has important theoretical guiding role.
