As a new forming method, the roll forming process of discal parts is significant to shorten the production cycle, reduce the production cost and improve the overall performance of the discal parts. This paper mainly studies the feed mechanism of the discal parts roll forming equipment. In this paper, a comprehensive comparative analysis of the multiple configurations of the feed mechanism of the discal parts roll forming machine is carried out combined with the characteristics of the rolling process of discal parts, and the 6 branch parallel hydraulic mechanism is selected as the feed mechanism of the discal parts roll forming equipment. Establish the model of the feed mechanism, then do kinematic analysis and dynamic analysis of mechanism, obtain equation between feeding velocity of rolling head of the roll forming equipment, rotational angular velocity of the moving platform, the external force of the rolling head, the external torque of the rolling head and the hydraulic cylinder length, stretching velocity, driving force. The kinematics and dynamics equations of the feed mechanism are programmed by MATLAB software. Through the kinematics analysis function of ADAMS software, verify the correctness of the kinematics analysis and the program. The curve of the length of the hydraulic legs, along the rod velocity and the hydraulic output force with time can be used as the control parameter to control the rolling head;hydraulic legs length range, along the rod maximum velocity and maximum pressure and the maximum tension can provide the specific parameters for type selection of hydraulic cylinder. The research work of this paper and the related research results provide the theoretical basis, the basic program and the specific data of the whole discal parts roll forming equipment manufacture.
