The four types of organobentonite were prepared by reaction of N-methylimidazole ionic liquid surface active agents and the sodium bentonite from Jurong of Jiangsu Province.And then four types of organobentonite-supported photosensitive complex of iron-phthalocyanine catalysts were prepared by the four types of organobentonite.They are FePH/DODEMI/Bent,FePH/TETRADEMI/Bent,FePH/HEXADEMI/Bent,FePH/OCTADEMI/Bent,and their structures were confirmed by Fourier transform infrared spectroscopy(FTIR)and X ray diffraction(XRD)characterization.The adsorption and degradation performance of the four types of the catalysts were studied on orange ? dye waste water.It was found that the decolorization efficiency by FePH/DODEMI/Bent and FePH/TETRADEMI/Bent was up as 98.4% at PH of 6-9,the dosage of 0.15 g,adsorption time of 20 minutes and 100 ml of 60mg/L orange ? dye waste water.After adsorption equilibrium,filtering,adding 20 mg/L solution,in PH 6-9,mixing for 1.5 hours at UV light,the decolorization rate by the four catalysts can reach 97.7%?97.8%?98.1%?98.5% respectively.The catalysts can be recycled.The adsorption of the catalysts were studied by thermodynamics and kinetics.It was found that the adsorption of orange ? onto the four types of catalysts all agreed well to the Langmuir isotherm models,which illustrated the adsorption process was mono single molecule layer and uniform on the surface.The adsorption kinetics data fit the pseudo-second-order equation well,which suggested that the adsorption process could be a rate-limiting step.The theoretical maximum adsorption capacity of the four kinds of catalysts were 80.97mg/g?82.17mg/g?86.50mg/g?86.28mg/g,respectively.The adsorption and degradation performance of two kinds of catalysts(FePH/TETRADEMI/Bent?FePH/OCTADEMI/Bent)were studied on Eosin Y dye waste water.The decolorization efficiency by FePH/TETRADEMI/Bent was up as91.7% at PH of 6-9,the dosage of 0.2g,adsorption time of 50 minutes and 50 ml of40mg/L Eosin Y dye waste water.The decolorization efficiency by FePH/OCTADEMI /Bent was up as 99.2% at PH of 6-9,the dosage of0.2g,adsorption time of 60 minutes and 50 ml of 40mg/L Eosin Y dye waste water.After adsorption equilibrium,filtering,adding 20mg/L solution in PH 6-9,mixing for1.5 hours at UV light,the decolorization rate of these two catalysts can reach 85.1%?90.1%,respectively.This catalysts can be recycled.
