| Methacrylate and acetate are important organic chemical materials, the demand for MTBE is growing which proved to be an important gasoline additive. The traditional process of the synthesis of methacrylate, acetate, and methyl tert-butyl with the catalyst of sulfuric is phasing out. In recent years, the solid catalyst especially the exchange resin that used in the esterification and etherification reaction has attracting attention.In this paper, the synthesis reaction of methacrylate, acetate and methyl tert-butyl ether are used for comparing the activity, selectivity and stability of the resin catalyst DA345, DA330, D005-T, A-25 and A-35 with the standard of the conversion rate of alcohol and the selective of the target product. And some characterization such as XRD, SEM, FT-IR, TG-DTA and N2 physical absorption are tested.In the methacrylate synthesis reaction catalyzed by strong acid resin catalyst(1) The reaction performance of resin catalyst DA345, D005-T and A-25 in different temperature were investigated. It resulted that the performance of catalyst and the conversion rate of alcohol grew better when the temperature became higher.(2) The reaction performance of resin catalyst DA345, D005-T and A-25 under the same conditions were investigated. The results showed that the performance of the resin catalyst D005-T was better than DA345 and A-25.(3) The results showed that the resin catalyst DA345, D005-T,and A-25 had good temperature stability over the methacrylate synthesis reaction catalyzed by resin catalyst in a long run.In the acetate synthesis reaction catalyzed by strong acid resin catalyst.(1) The synthesis reaction of n-Propyl acetate and n-Butyl acetate catalyzed by the resin catalyst DA330 were investigated. The results showed that the conversion rate of n-propanol was higher than the butyl alcohol under the same conditions. And the conversion rate of butyl alcohol and n-propanol reached 95% under the reaction conditions of M acid:M alcohol 4:1, WHSV 1 h-1 and temperature 110 ℃(2) The synthesis reaction of isobutyl acetate catalyzed by the resin catalyst DA330 were investigated. The results showed that the conversion rate of isobutanol was higher than 95% under the reaction conditions of M acid:M alcohol 4:1, WHSV 0.8 h-1 and temperature 108-115 ℃. But when the reaction pressure changed from 0.1 MPa to 0.3 MPa, the conversion rate of isobutanol was reduced to 94.6%. The conversion rate of isobutanol had no linear relationship with the pressures.In the methyl tert-butyl ether synthesis reaction catalyzed by strong acid resin catalyst.(1) The stability of A-35 and DA330 under the industrial condition in a long run were investigated. The results showed that the conversion rate of tert-butanol and the selectivity of MTBE of the resin catalyst A-35 was similar to DA330. But the resin catalyst DA330 had about 1500 hours longer life than the imported catalyst A-35. |
